China Academy of Real Estate announced that the examination for real estate planner under the Level One Certification Examination of the National Occupational Qualification Framework will take place in November 2009. The examination will create China¡¯s first batch of certified real estate planners.

In 2005, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security officially released the National Occupational Standards for Real Estate Planners and added real estate planners in the China Occupation List. Since then, real estate planners have had their official professional titles. However, the official examination has yet to be launched into the market.

Real estate planner has been among the ten most demanded occupations for the last three years according to statistics by China¡¯s most popular recruitment website, especially middle to senior level professionals whose salaries are in the high range in local standards. The official launch of the certification exam will help build up the workforce qualification framework in real estate planning and improve its professionalism.
