In preparation for the 2010 World Expo, Shanghai Professional Testing Authority has launched a regional certification program tailored-made for the world event. Aiming to provide standards and training for staff of the Expo, the program includes three levels of proficiency on venue operation and management. The first examination is expected to take place in November and successful candidates will be certified as "Venue Operator and Manager". Corresponding training programs will also be launched in this third quarter including a practical training camp for candidates to get hands on experience.
