Licensed Veterinarian Born in China

 
 

According to the Veterinarian Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture of China, a pilot certification program for licensed veterinarian was launched in five provinces and cities of the country in 2009. Based on the cut score set during the third conference of the National Certification Committee for Licensed Veterinarians, there has been a total of 5,226 candidates who have passed the licensure test, of which 1,086 have become licensed veterinarians, and 4,140 was certified as the licensed assistant veterinarians. The successful launch of the pilot marks the official birth of Licensed Veterinarians in China.
