On December 14, 2010, China becomes the 63th member of the International Actuaries Association(IAA).
Actuary is a new occupation in China. Higher educational programs on actuary were available since 1988, with imported course programs from universities in North America, Japan and the UK.Professionals in the industry must also take examinations from these countries in order to get professional designations....

On March 5-6, 2011, ATA delivered the first Qualification Test for China Securities Professionals in 2011 sponsored by the China Securities Association. The test was administered nationwide in over 40 cities.
