Honesty is emphasized in the 2012 entrance examination of graduate programs

1.65 million candidates took part in the 2012 entrance examination for graduate program study on January 7-9, up 9.6% compared with 2011. In addition to government funded universities, five privately-funded academies are also authorized for graduate study enrollment. One additional requirement for this year¡¯s graduate program enrollment is that candidates are required to state at registration whether or not they have past record of being punished for cheating or violation of test rules in national academic examinations....

Teacher qualification becomes a national test

Originally a local examination of each province, the teacher qualification test will become a national standard test in China from this year onward. Currently, the national examination is on a trial basis in two provinces and will become widely implemented nationwide by 2013....

Conference manager and event planner potentially being the next hot occupations

Convention and event industry has been developing fast in China since 1990s. It is reported that convention and event personnel has reached over 1 million, of which 150k are in management and planning. Sizable event projects nationwide in the last two years reached over 3000 per year, generating over RMB10 billion direct revenue and nearly 100 billion of economic output for related industries. China's automobiles top 100 million

The number of automobiles registered in China topped 100 million in 2011, the country's Ministry of Public Security (MPS) stated on Tuesday.

The Traffic Management Bureau under the MPS said that the number  increased by more than 14.9 million in 2011, the first year that automobiles outnumbered motorcycles in China.....
