Make your Test & Certification more competitive with ATA performance based testing solution.
A performance-based test focuses on assessment of the practical skills of a candidate. With ATA core technologies (see below), a candidate's operational skills and trouble shooting abilities will be measured and evaluated accurately in a performance-based test .
DST - Dynamic Simulation Technology
DST is a state-of-the-art technology that simulates the software running environment and network environment, including software interface, network connections and all visible active objects. The simulated environment almost perfectly resembles the real one, and the candidate can operate just like in the real environment. DST will track and evaluate the operation process according to predefined rules. Applications of DST typically include skill tests on a wide range of Window-or-Form-based applications such as Microsoft Certified Professional exams, Microsoft Office exams, router exam, accounting/management software systems, and so on.

RET - Real Environment Technology
RET is based on the real software running environment, and it can track and evaluate what a candidate does on the real software systems. RET could typically be applied to operational tests on MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash and so on.
PLE - Program Language Evaluation
With the development of computer technology, evaluation of proficiency in a programming language is getting more and more popular. Adding actual programming testing into the IT test has become a necessity in evaluation.
The Programming Language Assessment Technology can evaluate programming items in place of manual work, thus enabling testing subjective questions with respect to the programming language in a broader scale.
Based on the scope and objective of testing, Programming Language Assessment Technology is divided into three categories:
- VCTest emphasizes on checking the test taker's understanding of the basic syntaxes of the programming languages (e.g. Visual C++, Delphi) and object-oriented programming methodologies.
- UITest emphasizes on checking the test taker's knowledge of programming tools and graphic interface programming.
- CBTest emphasizes on checking the test taker's understanding and insight of common algorithms in data structure and programming.
The three tools complement each other with respective focus. Each can be applied based on the specific requirements of a test.
ATAML - ATA Mark-up Language
ATAML is a universal format for saving extended and standardized test items and supports both traditional standardized test items and extended standardized test items (linear connection, drag-and-drop, hot spot, fill-in items, multiple choice, true or false, calculation and so on). ATAML may apply to almost every multimedia format such as text, graphics, video and audio and makes item representation much more abundant and diversified.
