On December 16, the Tencent Education Annual Grand Ceremony 2009 was held at Beijing Shangri-la Hotel. ATA was awarded as the 2009 Most Influential Education Company in China, and Mr. Kevin Ma, the CEO of ATA, was awarded the Leading Figure of Education Industry in China.

The award is authoritative in China. It was hosted by Tencent, China's largest and most used Internet service portal, cooperated by leading media including China Education TV, JYB (China Education News), RMZXB (The News of People’s Political Consultative Conference), and Modern Education News. The Education Annual Grand Ceremony awards educational experts, teachers, entrepreneurs, reporters, educational training organizations, schools, companies, and media who have had outstanding contributions to the career of education in China. The award was vetted through online voting and comprehensive appraisal by a special committee consisted of education experts and industry leaders.
